La Vita Port Credit in Ontario

"Was so surprised by this place. It's new to the Port Credit area and I sort of found it by chance. The menu is great with some unique eats and familiar ones too. I think you get great value for the quantity and quality of food. I had the chicken souvlaki and it was delicious. The amount of food was very generous. They gave us the flower pot bread to start and it was so good plus they gave us a complimentary mountain tea as well. All-in-all a great experience. I'll be back"

"All the ingredients are great quality and it tastes so FRESH! The items that we tried are made of simple ingredients. However, the freshness of the ingredients make them go to the next level! They offered us complementary bread with some butter and a black olive with feta to spread on the bread. The bread is homemade and it was delicious, we loved the black olive and feta to spread. The burrata salad was perfect, again, ingredients are so fresh and high quality. Pizza was great too although we liked more the salad and the bread! The atmosphere is really nice, quiet and the service is amazing. We definitely coming back soon."

"The place is perfect for a good meal, sober and elegant, the light was so perfect and cozy, beautiful menu and so lovely dishes creamy pesto the best pesto I tried ,you gonna be a moment with you pasta , fresh al dente, just delicious!"

"We just came back from a Valentine’s Day dinner here. Absolutely delicious drinks, food, amazing service by the owner herself and very nice atmosphere. The menu wasn’t just your typical Mediterranean food either. It very was unique and had some really special dishes on there. We started off with the most delicious shrimp, lobster and avocado salad that was very generous in portion and the arancini which was done to perfection. Crispy and the sauce had a nice kick to it. The second course was rack of lamb and pumpkin gnocchi done in the most delicious sauce topped with pine nuts and cranberries I believe. Such unique flavours that all came together so wonderfully. It’s so nice to have a new Mediterranean restaurant in Port Credit! We will definitely be back!"

"Food was so delicious! The bread they serve complimentary is baked in-house with olive goat cheese and butter, very fresh and served warm. I got the Zuppa di Peche which is a seafood medley in tomato sauce it includes lobster, halibut, tiger shrimp, scallops, muscles, clams and calamari. Each piece of fish was cooked perfectly tender, sauce was buttery and paired with bell peppers and potatoes. Highly recommend this dish! Service was great, we were checked on often and the food came out at a reasonable time. There is a paid parking lot right across the street so you wont have to walk far from your car. Perfect date night restaurant if youre spending the day at Port Credit!"

"Came here to celebrate my birthday with my dear friend, and it was perfection ...the restaurant’s decor was chic and modern...Our server Danata provided fantastic service and made the evening flow perfectly! The food was just unforgettable, still thinking how spectacular the food was the next day! Thee pumpkin gnocchi was pillowy and rich with autumn flavor, the lamb meatball pasta soooo comforting (fresh made pasta!) and the lemon cake was light and sweet, the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal and a enjoyable time. We both agreed, La Vita is a place we’ll be returning to again!!!"

"First time trying La Vita down at Port Credit in the middle of the week, and I’m so glad I did. The interior had a moody atmosphere with simple and clean design. I ordered the Pumpkin Gnocchi (5/5) and Soppressata Diavola (5/5). Pumpkin Gnocchi was pillowy soft with a creamy yet delicately sweet sauce. It also had a nutty flavour to it from the toasted pine nuts. The short rib was delicious. Highly recommend this dish. Soppressata Diavola had a mild kick to it balanced with flavours of the tomato sauce and herbs. The dough itself was made well with the perfect balance between chewiness and crispiness. I’d order this again. The server we had was welcoming and patient. She was patient and did not make us feel rushed at all. We didnt realize that they were already closed because we were deep in our conversation and there were still a group two tables down from ours (we found out it was the owners). We felt really bad for overstaying but the owner was so sweet and even took the time to have a quick chat with us."
